Air Tahiti Nui has launched twice-weekly service between Seattle and Paris Charles de Gaulle. The airline is flying a Boeing 787-9 on the route.

This summer, Paris-bound flights are departing on Tuesdays and Saturdays, while Seattle-bound flights are departing on Wednesdays and Sundays. The schedule will shift in the fall, with Paris-bound flights departing on Wednesdays and Saturdays and return flights operating on Thursdays and Sundays.

Air Tahiti Nui will compete with Delta and Air France on the route.

Paris will be the second destination for Air Tahiti Nui in Seattle. Last October, the carrier began flying twice weekly between the Emerald City and Tahiti's capital of Papeete.

The carrier's other U.S. service goes out of Los Angeles, also to Paris and Papeete.
