Caribbean islands have reopened to international tourism, and most islands have dropped pre-arrival Covid testing for all travelers.

Here are the latest developments for travel from the U.S. to each Caribbean country. To make this information easier to understand, we are segmenting each entry into entry-requirement information for vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers and specific rules for children.

American visitors are barred from strictly tourist vacations to the all-inclusive resorts on the north coast but can travel to Cuba under 12 specific categories, the most popular of which is Support for the Cuban People.

Proof of a negative test is not required.

Show proof of a negative PCR or antigen test taken no more than 72 hours prior to boarding, or proof of a positive test together with documentation from their doctor attesting to their recovery.

Children:

Travelers under 5 are exempt from vaccination or testing requirements.

Jamaica: Open to vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers
