We're in the final months of the year, and hotels in Hawaii are releasing several packages that are perfect for a winter getaway in the Islands. Many of them also offer ways to give back to the island of Maui or have a special focus on regenerative tourism.

Oahu

Prince Waikiki's Black Friday offer with rates up to 50 percent off for stays from Nov. 6, 2023, through Dec. 21, 2024. Prince Preferred Members will have exclusive access to the promotion from Nov. 6-13; the public will be able to redeem the offer Nov. 14 to 30. The hotel also has a large program of activities throughout November and December that includes a holiday pop-up bar, trolley rides, makers market and a mochi pounding demonstration.

Kauai

Hanalei Colony Resort has unveiled a Black Friday deal that will go on sale Nov. 22-30 for travel from Nov. 22, 2023, through Dec. 31, 2024. The deal is 25% off its best available rates on a three-night minimum stay. Guests will also receive free parking and WiFi and complimentary shuttle rides to Hanalei Town and surrounding beaches. Use promo code FRIDAY2023.

Maui

Wailea Beach Resort has created the Return to Maui: Travel with Heart package, which contributes $100 of each stay to the Maui Strong Fund. It also includes a buffet breakfast for two and a $100 resort credit. A portion of the sale of the Maui Bliss cocktail will also go toward the fund.

Similarly, the Montage Kapalua Bay is offering a Return to Aloha package, which includes a $100 resort credit, daily breakfast credit and complimentary view upgrade. A portion of the package proceeds will be donated to Maui Strong Fund and the Maui United Way.
