In 2004, expedition company Lindblad Expeditions partnered with one of the most storied names in nature photography, National Geographic. The two are now joined at the hip, with a fleet of five small ships operated by Lindblad, whose founder, Lars-Eric Lindblad, was the first to bring tourists to Antarctica by ship. In 2020, Lindblad will launch its seventh ship, the 126-passenger polar expedition vessel National Geographic Endurance.
