Toronto-based Altree Developments will start construction next summer on Vie L'Ven, a luxury development project in St. Maarten. The project is expected to debut in 2028.

The beachfront complex on Indigo Bay, alongside a conservation area, will comprise 190 hotel rooms and 90 private residences and will feature boat access, watersports, three restaurants, a fitness center and a spa. Altree said it will bear a Dutch and French design influence; HKS has been contracted for the project's architecture, and Studio Munge is tasked with the interior design.
