Paul Gauguin Cruises' 332-passenger ship, the Paul Gauguin, has been offering year-round luxury cruises in Tahiti, French Polynesia and the South Pacific since 1988. It offers oceanview accommodations at every level and dining inspired by top chefs of Paris. In August, the French line Ponant said it would acquire Paul Gauguin but keep the brand going.
