Singapore Airlines, which serves 62 destinations in 32 countries, grew its flight schedule to the U.S. by 32% in 2018. The year was highlighted by the launch in October of nonstop service between Newark and Singapore, which is the longest airline route in the world. In November, the carrier added daily nonstop service from Los Angeles to Singapore. Both routes are being serviced by new Airbus A350-900ULRs configured with only business and premium economy cabins. Singapore is the launch partner for ultralong-range aircraft.
