St. Regis Hotels & Resorts oversees more than 40 luxury hotels and resorts across approximately 19 countries. The brand was founded by John Jacob Astor with the landmark St. Regis Hotel, New York, in 1904. Marriott International acquired St. Regis parent Starwood Hotels & Resorts in 2016. This fall, Marriott announced that the St. Regis brand would be launching in Morocco with the St. Regis Tamuda Bay, set to open in mid-2020.
