Last year's Executive View interviews produced
a first: Everyone had a rosy outlook on the global economy. And their
viewpoint turned out to be justified. Taken together, the interviews
below reflect companies coming off a year of phenomenal growth.
There's
a more limited pattern this year. Everyone's bullish on the U.S., but
it's far from unanimous on other parts of the world.
Still, many pieces
of the industry that made 2018 so good the impact of a new generation
of long-haul aircraft, the desire for authentic experiences farther
afield, the willingness of suppliers to invest in new products are
still in place. If only the global markets weren't so rocky.
