Travelport has integrated corporate travel management platform Deem into its Travelport+ platform.

Travelport acquired Deem in March from Enterprise Holdings.

The company announced its intentions of integrating Deem into Travelport+ alongside news of the acquisition. Travelport COO and deputy CEO John Elieson said the Deem acquisition was designed to complement offerings on Travelport+.

"Part of the Deem acquisition was to ensure that we had an OBT (online booking tool) alternative with full integration and full capability in the near term," Elieson said. "Of course, other OBTs are keen to work with us as well, but we needed to get to market quickly."

While Deem is now integrated in Travelport+, it also remains a GDS-agnostic tool.
Elieson said Deem has customers that use Sabre and Amadeus, and that Travelport will continue to make "significant investments" in its usability and offerings.

Travelport is also keen to offer Deem in markets beyond North America, according to Elieson.
