Universal Parks & Resorts will bring a permanent entertainment experience to Area15 in Las Vegas. The theme is Universal Studio's extensive library of classic and contemporary horror films.

This marks the first permanent horror experience Universal has created; its Halloween Horror Nights in its theme parks is a fan favorite.

The experience will include "a variety of unique, immersive, fantastic horror-centric experiences," food and beverages, merchandise and seasonal events in a 110,000-square-foot space.

It will be the anchor tenant in Area15's new 20-acre expansion that first opened in September 2020.

"Universal is known for our ability to deliver original, highly-themed and terrifying horror entertainment experiences for millions of fans every year," Thompson said. "We are excited to give our global fanbase yet another way to get scared and have fun with fear in the heart of Las Vegas, the perfect place for this type of unique concept."
