Super Nintendo World will open at Universal Studios Hollywood on Feb. 17, marking the park area's debut in the United States.
The immersive land opened in Universal Studios Japan in 2021. It will also be located in Epic Universe, Universal's new theme park under construction in Orlando slated to open in 2025.
In Universal Studios Hollywood, the land will feature the attraction Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge, interactive activities, dining at the Toadstool Café and shopping at the 1-UP Factory.
Guests will enter Super Nintendo World through a green pipe (a familiar sight for Mario fans) that leads into Princess Peach's Castle. Other features throughout the land include Bowser's Castle, which will house Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge, and Mount Beanpole, which also functions as the entry queue for the attraction.
Guests who purchase Power-Up Bands will be able to interact with many elements throughout Super Nintendo World. They can keep track of gameplay through Universal's free downloadable app.
At the Toadstool Café, guests will find fare like Toadstool Cheesy Garlic Knots, Super Mushroom Soup, Piranha Plant Caprese, Mario Bacon Cheeseburger, Luigi Pesto Chicken Burger, ? Block Tiramisu and Princess Peach Cupcake.
