Several mountains in the Vail Resorts family are already gearing up for Gay Ski Weeks in 2024.

Winter Rendezvous at Stowe in Vermont will celebrate its 40th year in January, the longest running Gay Ski Week in the Northeast.

The event, held from Jan. 17-21, is designed so that non-skiers can attend and enjoy programming that includes a pool party, drag bingo and snowshoeing.

"Winter Rendezvous is great for those who aren't into skiing and riding because there's no pressure to do so," said Courtney DiFiore, a spokesperson for Vail Resorts in the Northeast. "Most of the activation is in town as it's a community wide event, not mountain specific, which makes for quite the party."

The Whistler Pride and Ski Festival, to be held Jan. 21-28, just celebrated its 30th year and is one of the largest queer-focused ski weeks in the world.

The event includes guided ski tours and  races, and in the village, cultural and entertainment events. The signature event is an on-mountain ski parade down the Whistler slopes.

Queerski debuted this past February in Park City, Utah, and plans to expand for its second year.

Tentatively slated to run Feb. 21-24, this year's event will include a kick-off family-style dinner, on-mountain basecamps with music and food and an on-mountain Pride Parade.

The inaugural Queerski served as a fundraiser for the LGBTQ+ community of the Wasatch Back, and donors were invited to a  pre-opening First Tracks experiences at Park City Mountain.
