The Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Gardens' whimsical salute to the "The Nutcracker" continues through Jan. 7.

Floral displays and festive decor replicate iconic scenes from the ballet, following protagonist Clara's journey through her holiday dreamland.

The West Bed's 42-foot holiday tree is trimmed with red-and-white peppermint swirls, cascading strands of light and a star-shaped topper. An elegant display of a ballerina performing a pirouette is nearby. A 30-foot nutcracker soldier stands watch, and a miniature Peppermint Express Train circles the 18-foot base of the tree.

"Our Nutcracker-themed display was meticulously crafted to capture the essence of this timeless classic," designer Ed Libby said. "Every detail has been thoughtfully designed to bring visitors into the heart of the story, evoking the spirit of wonder and joy that the holiday season brings.

The Peppermint Express pop-up sells sweet holiday treats baked by Bellagio's pastry chefs. Menu items include holiday cookies, peppermint meringue, chocolate candies, holiday nougat, popcorn, coffee and hot chocolate. It is open from 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily.
